It all started in 8th grade… Brett mustered up the courage to ask Lara to the Middle School dance and there, amongst 90s tunes, braces and hair gel their romance began to blossom.  In high school Bett was an all-star athlete with a quiet but perfectly timed sense of humor, Lara was an all-star student and an outgoing, spontaneous goofball.  Who would have thought after more than ten years they’d still be going strong and that Brett would find himself mustering up his courage again, but this time to ask Lara to marry him?
Lara and Brett attended Parkland high school together but their college paths separated them geographically (University of Delaware and Millersville for undergrad and then grad school at Lehigh and Drexel to be exact).  Seeing each other so much less than they were used to was tough, but they made it work.   For their engagement photos they wanted a location that would work in rain or shine and ideally be elegant but still involve nature.  We found the perfect location– Longwood Gardens.  We were there for two hours and only touched the tip of the iceberg, what a beautiful venue!
