Chambersburg Country Club Wedding Photography: Katie & Jerry

Katie & Jerry were married on the hottest day of the year, but not even hundred degree temps could slow them down.  They were beaming all day and when the reception hit, the dance floor was filled with family and friends– everyone had such a blast.  Their event was filled with fun, elegance, color and I wish them the same proportion of joy for all the years ahead.  Congrats Katie & Jerry!!!

^ A great use of their engagement session DVD– they printed their photos wooden on blocks.  They also used them with their “unity sand” container.

^ A little prank: Every time someone is Katie’s family turns 50 they are given a cane as a joke– Katie’s mom gave her sister the cane at the reception.

Elizabethtown Engagement Photography: Elaine & Matthew

Elaine & Matthew have a pure love that is simple and elegant.  While their wedding reception will be held in a country club in New York, they wanted their engagement session to go back to the roots of their farming families.  My goal was to capture thier relaxed vibe in an elegant way so that their personalities could shine through.  I must mention that I love the barn, such a perfect fit!

^ JCrew called, they want their models back 😉

Very Nice Elaine–Great Pics.

[…] was one of simple elegance and natural beauty, something you may have expected if you saw their  country engagement photos.  We met at Elaine’s family farm to prepare for the wedding then to her home church […]

Stroudsmoor Inn Wedding Photography: Anu & Steven

Two wedding ceremonies united these lovely families at the beautiful Stroudsmoor Inn.   The hindi ceremony incorporated colorful garlands, rich traditions and ornate attire, both ceremonies brought joy & laughter to the couple and their guests —all with the serene backdrop of the Pocono mountains at Woodsgate, an ideal setting for this Lehigh Valley wedding.  Their guests received silver elephants as favors, here is one balancing their rings:

thier first look:

The ceremony begins with her father welcoming the guests:

Uncles exchange garland:

With the Hindi ceremony complete, it was time for the Christian ceremony:

Their band, Indigo 6 🙂

Towards the end of the reception, Steve picked up the microphone and serenaded Anu!

Carlisle Family Photography: The Wood Family

Adorable doesn’t begin to describe this energetic, brown-eyed charmer.  She and her family have a real appreciation for the outdoors.  They took some time to play hide and seek, dip their toes in a stream, enjoy a walk in the woods together and even fly a kite.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you about these eyes…

hide and seek 🙂

Shippensburg Senior Photography: Savannah Bell

Climbing trees barefoot, splashing in a creek, painting and cartwheeling across a scenic landscape– what a delight it was for me to work with Savannah.  She is a country girl through and through: from her playful spirit to her gorgeous golden locks and spunky attitude, she is absolutely one-of-a-kind.  My goal was to capture that on camera.

She wanted her little sister to be in a few shots with her.  They even made these flower crowns together before the shoot.

And then it started to rain… she embraced it wholeheartedly– completely unaffected!

She enjoys painting and sketching– check out the brushes hidden below 😉

She’s pretty athletic, too– I was impressed!
