Central PA Family Photography: the Wiser Family

Prepare to meet little Blake (we will steal your heart with his cute little toes, sweet smile and “bad to the bone” attitude!– you’ll see what I mean).  The family dog, Jackson has a mind of his own and is so sweet and gentle around Blake– i was very impressed (you’ll see that too).  Sam has a Harley and was eager to fit it and the fall foliage into the photos– enjoy!

Blake’s grandma made this woodland animals for his nursery ^

I think this is literally the sweetest thing I have ever seen a dog do.  The whole family was gathered around Blake and after seeing mom pat him on the chest, Jackson reached out and did the same then looked up to mom as if to say, “that’s how you do it, right?” Soooo sweet!!!

^ his face even says “bad to the bone” 🙂

Thanks for checking it out– please comment below, I’d love to hear what you think!

Shippensburg Senior Portrait Photography: MacKenna at Pine Grove

MacKenna is an energetic, athletic, high school senior who enjoys the beauty of the outdoors and her friends and family.   She chose the lakes at pine grove furnace so that we would be able to capture the sand, water, trees and fields all at once, early October brought in some fall color as well!

^ Can you say bright eyes?  Wow!  I think the water really brings out the color here!

Kenna, Very nice bright orange converse….they always make me smile even when I really don’t feel like it. Blessings to you honey…

Valley Forge Engagement: Dana & Jim

When Dana and Jim began their long distance relationship they started a tradition of meeting for coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts.  They are both relaxed people who enjoy the simple things in life– walking their dog, sunsets, even watching cheesy 90’s action movies together (you will have to check out the full set of photos to see stuntman-Jim’s jump).  Here is a sneak peek at a few of their engagement photos and a glimpse of their lives together.

Jim’s eyes are so bright here– I think the blue of her dress and the reflection from the sky bring them out even more!

Carol LovaglioNovember 8, 2011 - 5:36 pm

I am Lori’s mom- she has hired you for a wedding – NYC April 2012. I just shared your photos with another Mother of the bride. I told her the story of how my daughter would come upstairs and show me the work of other photographers over and over again and I just kept coming back to yours. It was down to two and even then I had to tell her…… To me you have the eye to capture a photo that draws you in. Different without being to far out there. It’s an art I appreciate. Beautiful pictures ! Can’t wait to meet you !

Shippensburg Senior Portraits: Phil

Welcome to the beautiful countryside that Phil calls home.   Phil is on the high school’s cross country team, is and avid reader/writer and lives with his family (including three brothers!) on their family farm.  I had the pleasure of getting to see some of his favorite places and I must say he has very good taste– yes, these are the blue skies and purple mountains that people write songs about 🙂 .

Below, see what he is looking at

Cross country is perfect for a young man with such appreciation for the land around his home.  ^

Loch Nairn Wedding Photography: Stef & Jake

Stepping on the grounds of Loch Nairn was like stepping onto the Scottish Country side.  Jake and Stef were drawn to the land, especially by a tree which was rumored to be planted by William Penn.  Though the ground was too soft to hold the ceremony beneath the tree, we made sure to include it and the beautiful country side as much as possible.  I was struck by Stef’s remarkable taste (the flowers, decor and location were stunning and fit perfectly together) but even more so by the joy of the family and friends as they celebrated wholeheartedly with this couple.  Enjoy!

Here is a bit of the tree:

These guys were a blast, just wait until you see them at the reception 🙂

Stef is waiting beneath the tree ready for their “first look”

Love her hair and flowers– almost time for the ceremony now…

The best man’s toast and Stef’s dance with her father

Jake wanted a luge that would chill drinks on their way to the glass, Stef incorporated their “tree” theme with their initials carved on the base.  🙂

Party time!

What do you think?  Please leave comments below!  🙂
