The only thing better than the great photography is how adorable your daughter is! 🙂

Sarah SheafferApril 7, 2011 - 6:23 pm

Very beautiful. The sepia tone really gives the photos a timeless quality.

Love, love, love this. So beautiful!!!! The photography and your daughter!

Jersey Beach Engagement: Katie & Jerry

I love when couples choose a location that is special and unique to them– the shoot tends to feel more like a date and we get a lot of fun, natural photos.  Katie and Jerry visited Atlantic City to see Jerry Seinfeld, while they were at the beach, they thought it would be great to have me come and document their trip.  The beach was such a perfect fit for them!  Here are a few of my favorites:

^ such a pretty ring!

Congradulations Katie & Jerry, these are great photo’s. Your beach there looks a lot like our beach here in SW Washington.

We LOVE the pictures!! We couldn’t ask for more perfect pictures! You are so good at what you do! Thank you for doing exactly what we wanted! 🙂

New York City Engagement: Nathalie & Michael

We had an absolute blast working with Nathalie and Michael on their NYC photo shoot in Washington Park and Rockefeller Center.  They are kind, playful, up for anything and so in love.  Portuguese culture is important to them, specifically music and dance, so you will see bits of that throughout.  I hope these photos show you what a delight this couple truly is!

^ A photo of her I “heart” Michael post-it on her phone

^ folk dancers in the background– how perfect!

Hey Lisa,

Not sure if your going to remember me, I work with Lalani. Anyways, I saw your link on the BI Design page, these pictures are gorgeous!

Fish-Eye in NYC: Using my newest lens!

My fish-eye lens was shipped just in time for Nathalie and Michael’s Manhattan photo shoot.   Kris and I arrived a little early for the shoot and caught a few images in the city on our way to meet them.  I love the wideness and distortion of the lens, and the clarity, too.  It’s so much fun to use!!!

^here comes the sun 😉

^ speeding taxis and the Beatles, love love love.

And speaking of love, here is mine– see him in the top right?  That’s how tall he really is, ha!

Shout out to Kris: my husband, my best friend, my business partner– the absolute best!  Without him I would not be able to do what I do!

Cara LiedlichMarch 18, 2011 - 10:12 am

Really unique!

Beautifully distorted. Reminds me of the never-ending curvature of our universe as well as our own reality in some sense.

Sharon & Andrew: Philadelphia Engagement Photography

The first time we tried to meet for their photo-shoot we were met with 60mph winds.   The second time we settled for 20mph, a bit chilly but I like the way it moved her hair in a few of the shots, just gorgeous.  Andrew is from Philadelphia, Sharon studied English at Penn and fell for Philly (and Andrew).  They enjoy walking downtown– a favorite hang out for them is Jack’s Firehouse, which is an old firehouse converted into a restaurant.  Andrew was even a bartender there for a bit.    Like most couples, they were referred to me by newlyweds that were happy with my work, in this case, Becky and Nick.

^ Sharon, your smile is absolutely stunning, and Andrew those eyes, wow!

^ Their love defies gravity 😉

^ Just something Sharon likes to do

Catch her if you can!

I’m looking forward to your wedding at Philadelphia’s Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware River this spring!

Lisa, this is my neighborhood! And you shot it really, really beautifully. The light on that shot from the museum steps is incredible. Great work!

KateMarch 13, 2011 - 9:06 pm

Hey, I love the b/w bar shot. Just out of curiosity: fill flash on the couple, good lighting, or a composite of shots?

I love your style.

Wilson KratzMarch 14, 2011 - 8:03 am

What fabulous photos of a young, caring couple! I anticipate an extremely wonderful wedding which will be happening soon. Thanks for sharing these scenes with me. Great photography!! Regards, Wilson

lisaMarch 14, 2011 - 11:31 am

Thank you!!! Kate, I used the natural light from the bar and waited for the light, her expression and people background to be right, then snapped. 😉
