Chambersburg Portrait Photography: Virginia & Bianca’s1920’s Hollywood shoot

To say that twins, Bianca and Virginia, are “into movies from the 1920’s” would be a huge understatement.    These high school seniors fell in love with classic movies and culture a few years ago and have been captivated ever since.  They wanted me to capture their interest in the 20’s, so we scheduled an old Hollywood glam style shoot at the Capitol Theater (circa 1927) in Chambersburg pa.  To see Bianca and Virginia in their element took me back in time and hope you will travel back with us as well.  Here is some music for your journey.

Below you can see thier reactions to different genre’s of movies: horror, romance, comedy, etc…

Bianca changed from her “movie star” look into something with a Charlie Chaplin vibe:

A huge thank you to these young ladies and their parents for entrusting me with their vision and to the capitol theater for allowing us to use their beautiful venue.  Brides, I could see this making a great wedding venue, hint hint. 🙂

Rhinehart Photography Wedding Ideas for brides & planners on Pinterest

Many of you are probably already familiar with Pinterest, aside from Facebook and twitter it is currently the top social networking site.  For those of you who are not familiar it is a virtual pin board of sorts where you can collect your favorite photos and it will link them back to the site that they came from.  I have had a pinterest account for a while now, mostly to collect recipes, decorating ideas, etc (think modern magazine cutouts).  It is a great place to organise wedding ideas from dresses to favors to decor you can find some great ideas.

As a wedding photographer I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing some pretty great wedding ideas from very creative brides and planners.  Everything from little homemade jam jar favors that read “spread the love” to elegant bouquets of exotic flowers and even touching ways of remembering a loved one in the ceremony even though they can not physically be there.  I have only pinned items from a few weddings, but will pin more if people seem to like it and find it useful.  Please feel free to click here and see it for yourself!  Be sure to “repin” the ideas and photos that you like!

This is a sneak peek at my pinterest site, I hope you can find some inspiration here:

Again, please visit my Pinterest site and re-pin any ideas that you think are worth passing along.  Thank you!!!!

Carlisle Senior Portrait Photography: Brandon

Brandon will be graduating from Ship in June and while he attends school he also works as a cook at the Holly Inn.  Cooking is a real passion of his and following graduation he will be attending culinary school.  I think these photos will show you his skill in cooking and his adventurous spirit.  Brandon I wish you all the best!

Today he will be making Shrimp Alfredo…

Bon Appetit!

I love your creativity with this shoot! How fun to incorporate his greatest passion as a student into his senior session.. he’ll love these when he’s older and looks back on this time in his life!

Shippensburg Senior Portrait Photographer: Jessica

Meet Jessica– she is kind, athletic and adorable on the inside and out.  She chose a quiet stream and a pretty spring day for her photos and brought along her track shoes, volleyball and a favorite book.  The images that stand out most to me in this set are her sports shots in the end– they really show the strength of her character :).  Jessica, I wish you all the best in the next step of  your journey!

Gettysburg Wedding Photography: Aubrey & Tom at the Gettysburg Hotel

Aubrey and Tom are very much in love, and their closest friends and family got to see that for themselves at the historic Gettysburg Hotel.  Everyone was so taken by them and that is what stands out most to me about thier wedding day.  The Gettysburg Hotel is located in the center of town at 1 Lincoln square, built in 1797, it is the real deal– wait until you see the ceilings in the grand ballroom…

^ Tom tended bar here while he was in college

^ Not only were her shoes super comfortable, but they also say that she is “Tom’s”   😉

 The first look…

^ Silhouetted tears

See what I was saying about the ceiling?  Now for the vows– how happy are they?

^ Love this little girl’s reaction to their affection 😉

^ It is beautiful to see a couple so in love , everyone was so taken with them.

^ These guests are thoroughly enjoying Aubrey & Tom’s first dance– many are standing and grinning ear to ear.

Tom dancing with his mom– I love the big hug below, you can almost feel it right through the screen, no?

Time for the garter and bouquet toss…

Check out  the lasers and fog brought by DJ Derek Romanoff –he was great to work with.

And they lived happily ever after 😉
