Rhinehart Photography Best of 2011 Slideshow

A huge thank you to my clients, fans and family for making 2011 such an amazing year.  It’s your dedication that has made this possible!!!  Thank you to my clients for entrusting me with the most sacred moments in your life and for generously referring me to your friends and family.  Thank you to my family for taking care of our children while we are photographing weddings– I am so appreciative and love you very much.  A huge thank you to second shooter, husband, and business partner- Kris- you have believed in me and supported me since the beginning (and some of the most stunning images in this slideshow are yours).  🙂

Crank up the volume and come along with me and explore the streets of Manhattan,  climb in the rafters of a barn, play tennis with your sole mate, dangle your toes over your favorite fishing hole, chase seagulls at the beach, run through an arch of sparklers, go horseback riding, and partake in Korean, Polish, Jewish, Indian, Portuguese and traditional American wedding ceremonies.

Reading Family Photography: Meet Jack, Lila, Kate & Martin

Prepare your self for adorable kids with warm winter hats, Christmas cookies, and even a superhero cape & teddy bear.   What stands out to me most about this family is Kate and Martin’s sense of humor and the kids appreciation for the the little things– Lila cuddled her little teddy bear all afternoon and throwing rocks in the stream had Jack shouting for joy.  It was fun to capture these little characters.  🙂

^ Peeking out of the hatch, it’s Jack in the box 😉

^ tree climbing

^ Lila’s Christmas cookie smile– her sprinkled teeth match her sweater, ha!

Boxhill Mansion Regents’ Glen Wedding Photography: Diane & Rod

You may remember Diane & Rod from their engagement photos at the Boxhill Mansion of Regents Glen.  We met at the beautiful estate again in November for their wedding, where sunshine and autumn colors lit the sky.  The couple featured the Irish tradition of the Celtic wedding knot and a peacock theme which was brought out in the colors of the brides maids dresses, bouquets, cake, hair pieces, etc.  The mansion and gardens are exquisite– I highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the York area.

^ Murals of the gardens are painted throughout the mansion, so even if the weather didn’t cooperate, Diane could still enjoy them inside.  🙂

Here is Diane & Rod’s “first look”.  The first look helps with the flow of the day also allows the couple to share this time together and get the kind high quality, intimate images they want while still being able to enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. Most of my couples choose to do this. 😉

^ Rod is charming and always the gentleman, after seeing her he kissed her hand, so sweet.

^  hehe

^ Diane you are stunning!  Time for the ceremony to begin…

The strings introduced the couple’s mothers who were carrying the Celtic Wedding Knot

^ Here are the peacock colored dresses an bouquets with feathers.

Love the fireplace, so cozy ^

The bride dances with her friends as the groom enters the room ^

^  White peacock themed cake with their favorite way to wash down a piece of cake, milk!    Below, I probably don’t have to tell you, but this is Rod’s mom.

^ Diane was quite the social butterfly and chatted with her guests and said her farewells.

^ And they lived happily ever after.   🙂
