Asbury Park Engagement Photographer: Jacquie & Vincent

Jaquie and Vincent chose Asbury Park for several reasons, one being that it is a venue that Vince has played and a place that they like to hang out (it was actually where Bruce Springstein and Bon Jovi got thier starts) the venue also suits Jacquie’s vintage/retro aesthetic with the Paramount Theater and other iconic areas built in the 1920’s and 30’s.    Jacquie and Vince were drawn to the creativity of my work and like how I capture individual personalities/styles– I hope I have done their characters justice!  Jacquie and Vince, it was a pleasure to work with you both and I wish you all the best on your wedding day– rock on 😉

Carlisle Wedding Photographer: Amanda & Jeremy at Kings Gap Mansion

Amanda and Jeremy’s outdoor garden wedding was held at the beautiful Kings Gap Mansion in Carlisle– thier day was filled with personalized touches from handmade pennants to signs that Jeremy cut and Amanda painted, there was no detail overlooked– also the sheer number of family members and friends who were assisting with the decorations, it was quite impressive!  Amanda and Jeremy, you were such a pleasure to work with and I wish you both all the very best!

Tying the knot 😉

^ Amanda’s wedding dress was made from her mothers’ wedding gown.

Amanda, you are stunning– time for the “first look”:

Off to the garden for the ceremony, here are a few of the details that I captured there.

^ Jeremy & Amanda’s parents were behind the couple during the ceremony, so their expressions were visible to guests as well, how proud do Jer’s parents look?

Instead of a unity candle, they planted & watered a tree together– it was both fitting for the garden and because Jeremy owns a landscaping business:

More details from the garden and home-made touches.  🙂

Jer’s cake-smashed face in front of the “love is sweet” pennant, hahahaha

Lisa, words cannot describe how incredible your talent truly is! Anyone can line up folks for a photo, but only a gifted photographer with artistic ability, imagination, and knowledge can capture real life at it’s finest, action, and those candid moments when you think NO ONE is looking 😉 (Like the very last photo above!…I had no idea you were even there!) haha! Im so glad and thankful you do what you do…you only have the best job in the world–the one you love, enjoy, and are best at…other than being a mommy and wife of course! I, we, only wish the best for you! <3

Lehigh Valley Wedding Photographer: Cassie & Oren at Bushkill Falls

Cassie & Oren are elegant, smart and very much in love– they were up for absolutely anything and I think it shows.  Their “Trash the Dress” session was held at beautiful Bushkill Falls.  The landscape was breathtaking with waterfalls, forests and bridges and they even braved entering the water itself at the very end of our shoot.  Cassie and Oren it was an absolute pleasure to work with you and I wish you all the very best!!!

Wildwood Engagement Photographer: Christina & Michael Part Two

You may have seen Christina & Micahels 1940’s vintage engagement shoot at the Queen Victoria in Cape May, here is their retro shoot at the Starlux in Wildwood.  They like the bright bold colors and the fun, 1960’s touristy feel of the Starlux, and it was also an important place to Michael as he attends Doo Wop Preservation League meetings at the Starlux ;).  They brought in Mickey ears at the end as a nod to their Disney engagement– the palm trees said “Florida” to me.

The ears they were presented with when they were Grand Marshalls in the Disney Parade during their engagement at Walt Disney World.

Cape May Engagement Photographer: Christina & Michael Part One

Christina and Michael had two very different vintage styles that they wanted for their engagement photos so we had two separate shoots– one at the Queen Victoria B&B in Cape May (Christina’s choice) with a 1940’s “Notebook” sort of vibe and another at the Starlux in Wildwood that suited Michael’s 1960’s retro taste.   These show the vintage feel of the Queen Victoria and the sweet and refined nature of this couple (Christina’s dress is by Miss Patina of London).
