Shippensburg Senior Portrait Photographer: Ryan

Meet Ryan, he’s a football player and country boy who knows how to have a good time and doesn’t take himself too seriously.  Football is number one for him, and he also enjoys the outdoors (trees, mountains) and driving his jeep.    Ryan it was a pleasure working with you and I’m excited to see where life will take you, my fingers are crossed for that football scholarship!!!

Shippensburg Wedding Photographer: Tracey & Brandon

From the human pyramid to a cake-smash that resulted in a cake-chase ;), Tracey and Brandon’s wedding was certainly fun it also had many traditional elements as well.   Tracey and Brandon met at Shippensburg University where he played football and she was a cheerleader (hence the pyramid later).  It was so far the shortest commute I’ve had to a wedding, only a few blocks from my home to the Shippen Place Hotel, Envy Salon and the Memorial Lutheran Church— their reception was at the Letort Center at the Carlisle Army Barracks.

From Tracey’s hotel room window, you could see the beautiful blue sky and the church where she would soon have her ceremony:

Tracey’s “reveal” to the ladies in her bridal party:

Tracey’s father watches as the ladies prepare Tracey to walk down the aisle:

Tracey was one of the tiny cheerleaders that would get thrown in the air in college, so we wanted to capture that somehow– the human pyramid seemed to fit. 😉

Children in attendance entertained themselves with their wooden train set:

That was *quite* the cake smash, but Tracey bounces right back and was in full sprint!

Wow on that last shot ! Sometimes I just want to skip to the end 🙂
Love where the groom is carrying the bride in his arms. Dress in window/ church.
Rings – sharp/crisp shot. Great !

Central PA Engagement Photographer: Liz & Mike in a canoe

Liz & Mike met at Penn State and were engaged at the Arboretum.  They will soon be moving to Oklahoma where Mike has been offered a career in higher education.  They enjoy the outdoors and between that and moving, we made sure to work a canoe and suitcases into their engagement photos.  Liz and Mike, I wish you all the best on your move and am happy to hear you both believe “home is anywhere you are together.”  😉

Motion is tricky to catch on camera, but I think you might be able to sense it here:

^ A little picnic with wine & cheese, notice the wine is from Penn State 😉

Lehigh Valley Engagement Photographer: Asli & Matt

A fast car and international travel along with cookie baking and goofy dance moves– Matt and Asli both share sophisticated tastes and playful spirits.  From Asli making mischievous eyes that have Matt grinning from ear-to-ear, to Matt picking a flower for Asli’s hair, it was beautiful to see how both of them can be so lighthearted.  This couple has a lot to look forward to, including uniting two cultures with their upcoming marriage.  Congratulations, guys!

Does Matt like driving fast cars? Hmmm check out the rear view.  😉

Cookie time!  I was impressed with the way that Matt was able to add their initials in icing ^.  Notice anything reflected in the bowl below?

Lehigh Valley Wedding Photographer: Lauren & Dan at the Grand Eastonian

Lauren and Dan have style– they are chic and sophisticated while also being humble and unpretentious; they are quite a pair ;).  They were married at the Grand Eastonian and held their reception at the River Grille, one of their favorite restaurants which was only a couple of blocks from their ceremony in downtown Easton.  Lauren & Dan I wish you all the very best in this next step of your lives together!

Love the idea of these adorable robes as bridesmaids gifts and the elegant and functional program that is also a fan:

I had mentioned Lauren’s kindness earlier– here she is helping others on her wedding day, such a sweetheart!

Her friends were just the same, despite being all glammed up, they made sure her feet were totally clean for her before slipping on her Jimmy Choos:

Love the little bows on the back of the bridesmaids’ dresses:

Their “first look”– lots of happy tears:

I like how “Nature’s way” is in the background of the shot and the way you can see all the detailing and movement of her couture gown and his shoes and bracelets:

Guests walked to the nearby River Grille were they were treated to delicious cuisine and wine glass charms:

Daddy’s little girl:

I think somebody really liked the fondue:

I’m smiling and crying. Lauren has such a deep inner beauty as well as her physical beauty, and that shows in these photos. Everyone is having so much fun, and that’s been captured. Amazing photos!
