Laini and Kyle’s colorful garden wedding was held at the beautiful Skytop Lodge. They had a bright, sunny day and added tangerine and pink tropical flowers (as a nod to their meeting at the University of Florida), wow do their colors pop! They also incorporated several Jewish traditions and offered fun entertainment for the guests (archery, golf, pool, etc). A huge thank you to my friend Jim for his assistance second-shooting this wedding!!!!
Did you notice the wedding date? ^^^
Here are a few of the Jewish traditions, below is the cup of wine and Laini being escorted by both parents when she meets Kyle beneath the Chuppah:
Skytop lodge uses antique locks and keys during their tradition where the bride and groom add their lock to the trellis on their wedding day.
While Laini & Kyle were out and about exploring the Skytop grounds together, their guests were enjoying hors d’oeuvres and sports 🙂
The Horah begins with a rather innocent seeming circle, soon the bride and groom are hoisted up on chairs surrounded by crowds of people, so much fun!!!!!
The festivities were followed by several touching toasts:
Laini and Kyle, I wish for the same measure of happiness and joy from your wedding day to follow you both throughout your lives!
