Hauser Winery Engagement Photographer: Stef & Jake

California Residents Stef & Jake are wine connoisseurs, so when in PA for their engagement photos, what better place to capture their love of each other and fine wine than the beautiful Hauser Winery and Estate located just outside of Gettysburg (yes brides, Hauser does hold weddings & receptions!).  We were able to explore the charming grounds as well as the wine cellar and even have a wine tasting.  Enjoy!

Down to the wine cellar…

Thanks for checking them out!  Feel free to leave a comment, I love getting them 🙂

Lisa, the photos look awesome–we are so happy with how they turned out! The family is already asking how they can purchase some prints. Can you email me that information? BTW, my favorite is definitely the one with the pond. So excited for September!

Once again your photos have captured the spirit and emotion of this beautiful couple. The pond shot is incredile and unqiue. You are simply amazing!

I love Jake and Stef’s engagement pictures! Your pictures capture how happy they are. I especially like your use of black and white for some of them. You are very talented and creative. I was thrilled when they chose you to be their photographer and I can’t wait to see you again at the wedding!

Philadelphia Glen Foerd Mansion Wedding Photography: Sharon & Andrew

Sharon and Andrew had two beautiful wedding ceremonies (American & Korean) held at the gorgeous Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware River in Philadelphia.  Sharon’s taste was elegant & fun: from her Reem Acra dress  right down to her fabulous bright blue peep-toe shoes.   They served sushi, had a Sopranos-themed bridal party formal in the Rathskellar and  even sent each guest home with little LEGO people created in their likeness.  Enjoy!

From the moment I saw Carlos Rodriguez touch Sharon’s hair I could tell he was an exceptional stylist, located in the beautiful Phoenix Salon & Spa adjacent to “love park,” he has been rated “Top stylist in Philadelphia,” and Phoenix is consistently rated among the top 5 salons in the city–  fab 😉

Looking through the mini-cards from their engagement shoot that Rhinehart Photography provided for her guests.

Wanting to make sure Sharon had her “something blue,” her sister brought the blue beaded pin that Sharon had given to her on her wedding day.   No worries though, Sharon had the blue totally covered with these adorable satin pumps:

This grand stair provided the perfect location for their “first look.”  I love her sister’s excitement in the background of this shot:

Such a fun bridal party– here they are in the Rathskeller giving off a cool Sopranos vibe.:

Time for the first ceremony!  This camera-within-a-camera images was caught by my wonderful husband and business partner, Kris.

On to the Honrye (Korean Ceremony) Sharon’s family preparing her hanbok– below is Sharon’s reaction to seeing her groom dressed in his gwanbook.

Sharon and Andrew chose LEGO people relating to interests of each of thier guests, above you can see fisherman Matthew and several others.

The wedding guests were just phenomenal– it was actually my second time hanging out with this crew, as Sharon & Andrew were referred to me by former  roomates Becky and Nick.  Referrals are  the highest compliment any couple can give and I am honored to work with such fun, creative group again!

I enjoyed every moment doing the hair and I must say Lisa Rhinehart
Photographer has capture the pure essence of a wedding. The bride the groom and the entire day can be experienced through her eye behind the lens as If you were a guest at the wedding . I’ve seen hundreds of brides on there day but never have I seen wedding photos that execute the mastery of such elegance ,style and true love like Lisa Rhinehart has done .

Dunno what to say. Saw the shoe shot and I was like “gotta tell her how awesome that is” … then I saw the groom looking out the window… and then I realized that this whole thing was totally coated in win. What a gorgeous, adorable couple… the legos related to interests idea is out of this world. Congratulations to the bride and groom!

I can’t stop looking at all your photos which are absolutely amazing in both style and emotion. Some of the images actually made me tear up AND I DON’T EVEN KNOW THE COUPLE!! Tell Kris that camera-within-a-camera shot was unique and fantastic!! Love you…miss you. Deb 🙂

Campaign Photo Shoot: Michael Fedor for Commissioner

Michael Fedor is an energetic family man running for county commissioner.  He was looking for fresh photos that would convey a larger message when paired with text.  It was a pleasure bringing him one step closer to his goal and I wish him all the best in the upcoming election.   A few of my favorites:

Opening Artist at Biscotti Gallery

Eating fresh, local food is something that I already love–  but when Sandy Freeman described her vision for “Biscotti,” an up-and-coming restaurant conveniently located a few miles from my home featuring local food, music and art,  she had my full attention.  The Biscotti will be serving classics as well as ethnically-inspired cuisine and have an emphasis on dessert & coffee served with, you guessed it, fresh biscotti–  mmmmm.

I was invited to be their opening artist, which means my work will be featured once they open the doors, likely from May to June.  I am honored and am printing a few more recent photos to commemorate the event.  I plan to have over a dozen on display, but here are a few:

^This will be my largest piece measuring 3 feet across and printed on canvas

^ most of the rest will be framed, matted 8×10 or 5×7 inch photographs

^ koi in our pond 🙂

These prints and others will be available for viewing and purchase at the Biscotti’s grand opening.  If you are wondering where it’s located, it’s right off of SU’s campus on Earl Street where “The Hop” used to be.  I hope to see you there!

Additional art work can be viewed by clicking this galleries link or galleries in my top menu bar.

The only thing better than the great photography is how adorable your daughter is! 🙂
