Waynesboro Senior Portrait Photographer: Kara

Snow in October!?!  We did experience some wacky weather  this year and Kara was excited to have an importunity to catch some of it in her senior photos.  Kara is a sophisticated young woman with grace and spirit.  She has both refined taste and a playful side and was a joy to work with.  We met at The Inn at Ragged Edge for her photos, a location I would also recommend for a wedding venue as well (hint hint, brides) 🙂

Great job Lisa! Love these!

Frederick Engagement Photography: Megan & Mike

The most beautiful skies in the most wicked weather.  I’ll have to admit that rain, high winds and low light are not my favorite shooting conditions, but thanks to the positive and resilient attitudes of Megan & Mike, a little creativity and the shelter of the barn at Best Farm on Maryland’s historic Monocacy Battlefield, we were able to not only pull off this shoot but also see some of the most unusual color and light I have used.

Megan & Mike have been collecting antique postcards for their wedding.  They brought two along and wrote a favorite quote on each.

And a little bit of rainy day whimsy:

Wow. These pics are stunning, with intense emotion-like something out of a movie. Maybe the breathtaking winds helped reflect the breathtaking romance. This is true art.

These are amazing!!

Boiling Springs Senior Portrait Photographer: James

Not only is JD one of the coolest, smartest, artistic people you’ll meet he is also among the most polite and considerate.  He has a style of his own and taste that is completely unique.  He enjoys playing guitar and has a strong interest in botany and biology– so we knew that outdoors was a must for him. I absolutely agree that this is “only the beginning” and that this young man has a very bright future ahead of him.

This set is absolutely beautiful. You really have a great style. When it comes time for us to start a little family, I will definitely keep you in mind. The colors and vibrancy of your photos is simply stunning.

Thank you SO MUCH Lisa!!!! You did SUCH an amazing job. I love the photos, everything about them is just… awesome! I had a wonderful time working with you!!!

Central Pennsylvania Senior Portrait Photography: Shelby

Shelby has a quiet confidence about her.  She is honest, cheerful and a young woman of faith.  She is active in youth group, school, marching band and dancing.  She is one of those teens that seems wise behind her years and someone you would be able to trust with anything.  Shelby I wish you all the best in your senior year– it was a pleasure getting to know you!

Allentown Engagement Photography: Vicky & Daryl

Vicky and Daryl are relaxed couple that enjoy being home together most–  watching movies, playing games, sharing a meal– they are also self-described “beer enthusiasts, which is why their wedding will be at the Allentown Brew Works.   Though they met in Daryl’s Karate studio, they wanted their engagement photos to show the more casual and romantic side of their relationship with lots of candid photos in a relaxed outdoor environment.
