Donating Pieces to Library Art Auction

If you know me, you know I love libraries.  This Saturday at 7pm there will be a benefit for Shippensburg Public Library’s building expansion campaign.  It will include food, dancing, drinks and art!  I have donated two of my best selling pieces in hopes of raising some funds to a cause that is very near & dear to me.

“Perspective”  I had this especially printed on canvas for the event.

“Under the Crabapple Tree”  Is custom framed and matted and one of my all-time favorite shots

Winter Wedding at Sayre Mansion: Linda & Chris

Elegant, timeless, and intimate—this winter wedding at Sayre Mansion was a perfect fit for Linda and Chris.   They wanted a private affair with a vintage feel and it came together beautifully.  I am known for using vibrant color, but as I processed these images I was drawn most to the chocolate-toned black and white, and the way it was able to capture the overall feeling of their wedding day.  Enjoy!

I LOVE your photography. Amazing!

Rated in the top 5% of Wedding Photographers Nation-wide!!!

Wow!  What an honor!  We are proud recipients of the Wedding Wire “Bride’s Choice Award.”

Wedding Wire is a nation-wide directory of wedding vendors– a “Yellow Pages” of wedding professionals across the country.   Couples visit wedding wire to find vendors and read their reviews and ratings.  They eventually write reviews and rate their own vendors.

Vendors with enough reviews and perfect average review score (5 stars) are entered into the running for the brides choice award.  Then, brides across the nation are surveyed to choose their favorite vendors.  Wedding wire gives “Brides Choice Awards” to vendors rated in the top 5% nation-wide.

We are very pleased to be given this honor and are grateful to all of the brides who wrote glowing reviews and voted for us– thank you!!!

Wolfe Family Photos: Winter at Laurel Lake

Meet the Wolfe family:  4 teens, 2 dogs, 2 parents and a whole lot of cool.

This family portrait session was Mr. Wolfe’s Christmas gift to the Mrs.  They wanted me to capture the candid, fun nature of their family and have the photo shoot before the oldest girls returned to school.  Since capturing the outdoors was a must, I mentioned the 30 degree temp– while my equipment could handle it and I would love it, I wanted to make sure they would be OK.  Not only were they OK, they chose an awesome frozen lake as their location and gathered up their tent, bike, marshmallows, card games, doggie-jackets and more, meeting me in great spirits and ready to have some fun.  Wolfe family, I hope these shots show off what an awesome family you really are.

These portraits honestly captured the heart of our family. Our energy, enthusiasm, curiosity, humor, personality, and passion all shine in every image. I love that we not only recreated some of our happiest memories, we also created new one’s while we were there. This was the best gift I’ve ever gotten and will treasure it for the rest of my life. Thank you so much!
